No real news actually, rather a disclaimer. In the meantime just let me list the Open Source tools / libraries I've being using for this website. Obviously CakePHP, Blueprint for CSS, Simplepie as a CakePHP component for external RSS parsing.
I developed the platform behind the site on my Ubuntu laptop using Eclipse as the main IDE. Now the same laptop is running OpenSuse, Gnome installation. So you may guess that the few graphic elements have been treated by The Gimp and Inkscape.
I stumbled upon the fonts I used via Smashing Magazine (a must-read if you don't know it), which pointed me to the Lacuna font and the MgOpen family - MgOpen Modata in my case.
